    • The process of opting out takes approximately 90 days to finalize.

    • This timeframe includes the review of your request, obtaining necessary approvals, and making adjustments to your billing and energy management systems.

Steps to Opt Out

  1. Submit a Request

    • Contact Ivy Energy to submit a formal request to opt out of the solar program.

    • Provide all required information, including your name, unit number, and reason for opting out.

  2. Approval Process

    • Your request will be reviewed and approved by Ivy Energy and/or your Property Management. Depending on your community’s set program policy.

    • Property management will assess your request and consider any potential impacts on the community and solar program.

  3. Notification

    • Once your request is reviewed, you will receive a notification regarding the status of your opt-out request.

    • If approved, your opt out will take effect exactly 90 days from the end of the billing cycle in which you provide written notice.

  4. Finalization

    • After approval, the process to opt out will take 90 days to complete. A confirmation email will provide details and the exact date that your 90 days ends. 

    • During this period, any necessary adjustments to your billing and energy management systems will be made.
